"LET MY PEOPLE THINK WITH DR. RAVI ZACHARIAS"

How can we make the Gospel relevant to those who don’t consider it very important for their lives or believe that it’s just a phase of their lives that they’ve outgrown? How can we respond to difficult questions about the Christian faith or other religions? What can we say about Transcendental Meditation, yoga, reincarnation, Buddhism and other beliefs?

How to respond to common questions such as: Who are we and what should we be? Where did we come from? Why are we here? What do you suppose we ought to do? Where are we going? Etc.

How can we skillfully defend our faith, open doors and capture the attention of our listeners to present the Gospel as something worthy of being considered and believed? Dr. Ravi Zacharias responds to these and other concerns in his program, "Let My People Think."

“Let My People Think with Dr. Ravi Zacharias” is the new production from the SERVIR Agency of HCJB Global Voice and it is an excellent resource for Christians who long to understand their faith and testify with intelligence.

Dr. Zacharias uses simple language to reach those who think the Gospel doesn’t have anything important to say in relation to their daily public and private lives.

By listening to “Let My People Think with Dr. Ravi Zacharias,” you will be able to prepare yourself to respond and give intelligent explanations for your Christian faith.

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Zacharias was born in Madras, India and converted to Christianity after attempting suicide at age 17. He emigrated with his family to Canada in 1966, obtaining his degree from Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale University College and Seminary) in 1972 and his Masters of Divinity from Trinity International University.

In May of 1972 he married Margarita (Margie) Reynolds, whom he met in his church youth group. They have three children: Sara, Naomi and Nathan. Later he was ordained by the Christian and Missionary Alliance and commissioned as an international evangelist.

In 1983, Dr. Zacharias was invited to speak in Amsterdam at the annual conference of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. It was there he discovered the lack of ministry in the field of Christian apologetics. After Amsterdam, Dr. Zacharias spent the summer evangelizing in India, where he continued to see the need for apologetics ministry both for leading people to Christ and for training Christian leaders.

In 1984 he founded Ravi Zacharias International Ministries to follow his calling as a “classic evangelist in the realm of intellectual resistance.” Today, their headquarters are in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) and they also have offices in Canada, England, India, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.

Available via FTP beginning in February for broadcast in March.
